| Delicious Fudge
Brownies
ingredients
2 tsp. butter
1 tbs. Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup butter, melted and cooled
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and
cooled
5 oz. bittersweet chocolate, melted and
cooled
2/3 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 large egg yolk, lightly beaten
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease an 8-inch
square baking pan with 2 tsp. butter.
Dust with cocoa powder; invert pan and
tap to release excess.
Whisk melted butter and chocolates together
in a large bowl. Whisk in flour, salt,
and sugar. Whisk in eggs, egg yolk, and
vanilla until well blended.
Pour batter into baking pan. Bake in
center of oven for 25 to 35 minutes, or
until a toothpick inserted in the center
comes out with a few moist crumbs, but
not wet batter. Cool thoroughly in pan
on a wire rack, about 1 hour.
Cut into 16 (2-inch) square bars and remove
from pan. Makes 16.
